how to use HEXA charcoal with Shisha
- Full Ignition is Key: Ensure the HEXA coals are fully ignited on all sides until they are glowing red and covered in a thin layer of ash. This prevents headaches and ensures a clean, consistent burn.
- Optimal Placement: For most standard-sized bowls, place three HEXA coals evenly around the perimeter of your heat management device (HMD) or foil. Their flat sides allow for maximum surface contact and thermal stability.
- Prevent Overheating: The Hexa’s large mass provides intense heat. If the smoke becomes harsh, easily remove one coal and place it on your coal tray, or shift the coals slightly inward or outward to regulate temperature.
- Rotation Schedule: For maximum longevity and even tobacco burn, rotate the coals every 15 to 20 minutes. This prevents isolated hot spots and maintains the longest burn time possible.
